PACIFIC OCEAN – An UH-1Y Huey prepares to lift a pallet of supplies from the flight deck of USS San Diego (LPD 22) during external lift training, July 31, 2017. The training refines the skills of the pilots and crew of the UH-1Y Huey as they lift loads of pallets in preparation to transport equipment. The 15th MEU and America Amphibious Ready Group are operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance regional partnerships and serve as a ready-response capability for any type of contingency.
