Asa Kim, commanding officer of Navy Operational Support Center Fort Carson, hands the commanders pin to his parents for them to apply on the uniform. Lt. Cmdr. Kim was commissioned in May 2003 and recently served in Arlington, Virginia as the Director of Budget and Execution Officer.
