Contractors with Eastern Environmental Management place trash bags of absorbent pads full of diesel fuel and gasoline into lined barrels at McCotters Marina on Saturday morning, Jan. 8. The petroleum products were released into Broad Creek following a fire at the marina early Friday morning, and the Coast Guard and the contractors worked through the weekend to collect 63 barrels of the oiled absorbent pads.
