U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Samuel Sly aims his M4 at his target, May 23, 2017, at the Australian Army Skills at Arms Meeting in Puckapunyal, Australia. The competition brought together 20 teams from countries around the world to participate and learn from one another. AASAM incorporated various combat shooting drills to test the skills of each country. Sly, a native of Kalamazoo, Michigan, is an assaultman with 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment.
