U.S. Marines Sgt. Brian Stiles (left) hands off the M249 to Cpl. The competition brought together 20 teams from countries around the world to participate and learn from one another. AASAM incorporated various combat shooting drills to test the skills of each country. Stiles, an Enola, Pennsylvania native, is a machine gunner with 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment.
