First Army Brigade Support Element staff members respond to a question from Brig. Gen. Frederick Maiocco Jr., 85th Support Command commanding general, during a New Command Teams Orientation held at 85th Support Command Headquarters in Arlington Heights, Ill., May 19-20, 2017. The orientation gave battalion command teams and Brigade Support Element staffs assigned to 85th Support Command, but operationally controlled by First Army, a better understanding of the practices and procedures that make up the hybrid relationship between First Army and the 85th SPT CMD.
