GULF OF ALASKA - A Chief Boatswain's Mate assigned to Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS O'Kane (DDG 77) observes a U.S. Coast Guard MH-60T Jayhawk helicopter assigned to Air Station Kodiak, Alaska, landing during flight deck operations in the Gulf of Alaska. Northern Edge 2017 is Alaska's premiere joint-training exercise designed to practice operations, techniques, and procedures as well as enhance interoperability among the services.
