JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- Air Force Staff Sgt. Nicholas Pack an Engine Specialist with the 67th Aircraft Maintenance Unit inspects a newly installed engine on a 67th Fighter Squadron F-15C Eagle during Exercise Northern Edge 17(NE17) here May 4. Pack had just finished removing the engine in the foreground due to it burning more oil than allowed, and replacing it with the engine pictured, in fewer than three hours. NE17 is a joint training exercise involving more than 6,000 service members across all service branches.
