TAURAMA, Papua New Guinea (April 16, 2017) U.S. Marines with Battalion Landing Team 1st Bn., 4th Marines, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), demonstrate room-clearing techniques to Papua New Guinea Defense Force (PNGDF) service members during a military capabilities exchange at Taurama Barracks, as part of a theater security cooperation engagement, April 16. During the training, the 11th MEU Marines worked alongside the PNGDF service members, showing them how to tactically enter a room in pairs, and clear it of any potential enemy threats.
