TAURAMA, Papua New Guinea (April 16, 2017) U.S. Marine Cpl. Brandon Soncarty, a rifleman with Battalion Landing Team 1st Bn., 4th Marines, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, leads Papua New Guinea Defense Force service members in escalation of force tactics during a military capabilities exchange at Taurama Barracks, as part of a theater security cooperation (TSC) engagement, April 16. Apart from day-to-day bilateral training conducted at Taurama Barracks, an informational exchange ship tour, held aboard USS Comstock (LSD 45), along with a WWII memorial tour, is set to occur during the TSC.
