TAURAMA, Papua New Guinea (April 15, 2016) Lt. Col. Boniface Aruma, a company commander with Royal Pacific Islands Regiment, Papua New Guinea Defense Force (PNGDF), speaks with U.S. Marines with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) prior to the opening ceremony of a theater security cooperation (TSC) engagement April 15. TSC’s like the one conducted alongside the PNGDF, help to enhance military capabilities with partner nations and serve to strengthen their respective abilities to respond to a contingency.
