Fikre Worku, Dil Chora Hospital surgical ward nurse, practices patient assessment and care during an emergency medical technician class Oct. 15. Nurses of the Dil Chora Hospital attended the first week-long emergency medical technician refresher course, a partnership between Dil Chora Hospital, soldiers of the U.S. Army 418th Civil Affairs Battalion, Charlie Company, Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa, and Seabees of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 7. Dil Chora Hospital has been designated by the Ethiopian Ministry of Health as the command and control center for the area’s emergencies.
