German jumpmaster Staff Sgt. Volker Metzig with Luftlande Brigade 31 gives the okay signal to the loadmaster of a German C-160 aircraft prior to a U.S.-German airborne training exercise at Fort Bragg, N.C., Oct. 5. Assisting Metzig is Staff Sgt. Joshua Tyree, a jumpmaster with 2nd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division.
