U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Michael Dubie, Vermont National Guard’s adjutant general, talks with U.S. Army 1st Sgt. Dubie had a tight schedule to visit as many of the deployed Vermont Guardsmen as possible. The recent deployment of Vermont National Guard troops is the largest active duty call up since World War II.
