    U.S. Navy Vice Adm. Mike LeFever, commander of the Office of the Defense Representative Pakistan, speaks to members of the 16th Combat Aviation Brigade deployed from Fort Wainwright, Alaska, in a hangar, Sept. 27, at Ghazi Air Base, Pakistan. Vice Admiral LeFever made his visit to the base to personally observe and thank servicemembers conducting flood relief operations in the Swat Valley in northern Pakistan. Since relief operations began, U.S military aircraft have transported more than 11 million pounds of flood relief supplies and evacuated more than 18,000 people.
