Sgt. Michelle Spinazzola, a native of Cincinnati and the operations non-commissioned officer with the 1st Infantry Division Band, and Spc. Jonathan Akhondi, a native of El Paso, Texas, and the information management officer for the band, paid tribute to victims of the 9/11 attacks, Sept. 11. The two vocalists performed at the 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at the Basra chapel.
