Wittanuchai Pratai-ngam, a villager from the Non Ngiew Village, puts cement on the wall of a multipurpose room at Ban Non Lueam School, Korat Province, Feb. 9, 2017 during Cobra Gold 17. Community members are assisting the Royal Thai Army along with the U.S. Air Force, Indian Army, and China’s People’s Liberation Army with the construction of the school’s new room. The school is one of six Humanitarian Civic Action (HCA) sites in Thailand that will be gaining a multipurpose room during CG17. This year’s exercise maintains a consistent focus on HCA, community engagement, and medical activities conducted during the exercise to support the needs and humanitarian interests of civilian populations around the region.
