Col. Terry M. Johnson, commanding officer of the 12th Marine Corps District, recognizes Emma Bruntil, a junior and competetive wrestler at Mt. Baker High School, as the MaxPreps High School Athlete of the Month during a ceremony at Mt. Baker High School, Jan. 23. Bruntil was also nominated for the Semper Fidelis All-American Program and, if selected, earns an opportunity to attend the Battles Won Academy in Washington, D.C.
