Marines load a round into a M224 60mm lightweight mortar system as part of a live-fire range during a squadathon at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Jan. 12, 2017. The purpose of the training was to prepare squad leaders for real-world scenarios by validating, sustaining and improving their squad level skills, which are part of the basic training and readiness standards.
