A group of military officers in formal dress uniforms are walking through what appears to be an official government or military building. The group includes personnel in US Army dress uniforms and others in grey-green military uniforms consistent with Central Asian military dress. Bronze warrior statues on pedestals flank the corridor, suggesting a ceremonial or official venue.

Lt. Gen. Michael Garrett, the commander of U.S. Army Central, began a two-day tour in Astana, Kazakhstan with a sit down meeting with Lt. Gen. Murat Maikeyev, the First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan, at the Kazakhstan Ministry of Defense. Garrett also visited the new Kazakhstan Military History Museum — focusing on the rich warrior tradition in the country from the Bronze Age to the 21st Century — and donated a replica of the sword Third Army Commander Gen. George Patton carried in World War II.
