Senior Master Sgt. Susan Schroeder, right, and Master Sgt. Karen Erickson, both of the 119th Wing, create t-shirts voicing their feelings against sexual assault July 29, on the Veteran's Administration Hospital grounds in Fargo, N.D. Schroeder and Erickson are being assisted by Staff Sgt. Heather Prigge, also of the 119th Wing, left, who is a military sexual trauma program intern, working toward her master's in social work at the University of North Dakota. The t-shirt will be used in a clothesline project display on the VA grounds. The display is being used to "break the silence" and to bear witness to sexual violence. The event gives survivors an opportunity to express their experiences through the t-shirt artwork, and for some it may be a first step in the healing process of emotional recovery from violence against them.
