During an exercise at Fort A. P. Hill, Va., July 23, a National Guard infantry Soldier flees a military police officer, both attached to the Joint Task Force-National Scout Jamboree, after running through a checkpoint at the perimeter of a military police barrier. The training was conducted in preparation for the National Scout Jamboree here from July 26 through August 4. The JTF’s goal is to provide professional military support and a safe and secure environment for Scouts and visitors during the event. The Department of Defense’s presence and effort at the NSJ emphasizes the commitment to the nation’s youth.
