ATLANTIC OCEAN (Dec. 6, 2016) – Seaman India Smith, a native of Fort Washington, Md., conducts a transaction in the ship store with Seaman Andrea Dougherty, a native of Columbus, Ohio, aboard amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). Iwo Jima is underway pursuing Mobility-Engineering (MOB-E) and Mobility-Seaman (MOB-S) certifications as part of the ship’s pre-deployment qualification process.
