Army Staff Sgt. Gary A. Scott, information technology specialist, 143rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), congratulates a challenger who climbed to the top of the Berlin Walll obstacle during the Tough Mudder endurance challenge Nov. 5, 2016, in Palm Bay, Fla. Scott, a native of St. Cloud, Fla., joined more than 20 Soldiers from the 143rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) providing moral support for this international athletic extravaganza that comprises an 10-12 mile course that features nearly two dozen obstacles that tests individual strength and stamina through team building and group collaboration. Since 2012, the Army Reserve has partnered with Tough Mudder to promote the Army Reserve and recruit Tough Mudder challengers who, by completing the challenge, exhibit many of the physical and mental traits necessary to lead Soldiers.
