Army Maj. Ken E. Dobbe, support operations distribution integration branch chief, 143rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), explains the meaning of "Hooah" to hundreds of challengers preparing to face the Tough Mudder obstacle course Nov. 5, 2016, in Palm Bay, Fla. Dobbe, a Chicago native, told the challengers that “Hooah” translates to anything but the word, “no.” Dobbe’s inspirational pep talk coincides with the Tough Mudder’s high regard for courage, confidence and commitment. This international athletic event’s target audience share many qualities that the Army Reserve seeks in new recruits and future leaders. This correlation has enticed the Army Reserve to sponsor 10 Tough Mudder challenges this year as community engagement and recruitment platform. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. John L. Carkeet IV, 143rd ESC)
