Army Sgt. 1st Class Efrain Abreu, a motor transport operator serving in the 143rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) gives a Tough Mudder competitor a high five during the Tough Mudder challenge Nov. 5, 2016, in Palm Bay, Fla. Abreu, a native of Tampa, Fla., joined approximately 20 Soldiers from the 143rd ESC and the 196th Transportation Company in supporting the Army Marketing and Research Group's community engagement and recruitment initiatives during this international phenomenon that annually attracts tens of thousands of people to test their physical and mental limits. Many Tough Mudder participants possess the physical, mental and spiritual qualities that define effective leadership. These traits have enticed the Army Reserve to sponsor 10 Tough Mudder challenges this year to promote the organization and recruit new Soldiers. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. John L.
