USS SOMERSET, At sea (Oct. 21, 2016) – An AH-1Z Cobra takes flight from the USS Somerset (LPD 25) Oct. 21, 2016, during Hawaii Sustainment Training for the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group. Hawaii Sustainment Training is the MEU/ARG’s first exercise during their Western-Pacific 16-2 deployment. The Cobra and crew are with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 163 (Reinforced), 11th MEU.
