Even while at sea, Marine units of all different Military Occupational Specialties can find a way to sustain their training and hone their skills. More than 2,400 Marines and Sailors with the 11th MEU recently began a seven-month deployment to the Western-Pacific and Middle Eastern regions embarked aboard the three U.S. Navy ships of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group.
