ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 23, 2016) Petty Officer 1st Class James Grider, uses an atomizer to blast off sand and dirt of a MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the Dusty Dogs of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 7 in the hangar bay of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Grider serves aboard Ike as an aviation electrician’s mate and is responsible for the electrical systems and components of the helicopters. Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
