While other Marines with the wiremen platoon, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Fwd), provide security, 21-year-old Lance Cpl. Timothy A. Ebert, a Dover, Del. native and Lance Cpl. Jesse L. Jamison, a 20-year-old Sicklerville, NJ. native attempt the task of engineering wires. It's tedious and precise work, said Ebert, a Dover, Del. native who added that he is constantly fighting the elements in an effort to keep all the equipment clean. These wiremen Marines are responsible for the task of installing a more reliable multi-network communications system in support of 1st Iraqi Army Division Military Transition Team.
