NORFOLK, Va. (Oct. 13, 2016) Capt. Stephen Paulette and Seaman Yarileidis Paredes pose with Capt. Will Pennington, USS George H.W. Bush's commanding officer, during the Navy birthday cake cutting ceremony. The cutting of the cake by the oldest and youngest crew members is a tradition that symbolizes the passing of knowledge from the previous generation of Sailors to the next.
