U.S. Marines and Sailors with 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division (2d MARDIV), provides security while he conducts patrol based operations during the 2d MARDIV Infantry Rifle Squad Competition at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Sep. 15, 2016. 2d MARDIV Infantry Rifle Squad Competition was to evaluate the tactical proficiency of infantry rifle squads and determine, under simulated combat conditions, the Division’s most proficient and capable squad.
