Rafe Wysham, commanding officer of the “Diamondbacks” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 102, sits in the cockpit of an F/A-18F Super Hornet jet aircraft with Cmdr. Gregory Malandrino, executive officer of VFA 102, on the flight deck of the Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), before the squadron’s airborne change-of-command ceremony. During the ceremony, Malandrino relieved Cmdr. Rafe Wysham as commanding officer.
