Marines of I Company, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment trudge up a stairway in Sadiquiyah, Iraq, Aug. 17. Marines were coming back from setting up vehicle checkpoints in the area to deter insurgents from transporting weapons in vehicles. The battalion is currently serving a seven-month deployment in the Habbaniyah area under Regimental Combat Team 5.
