Jennifer Loredo, the spouse of fallen Paratrooper Staff Sgt. Edwardo Loredo, speaks at a new Child Development Center dedication ceremony, held to honor the sacrifice of her husband, on Pope Army Airfield, N.C., Aug. 12, 2016. The dedication honored the sacrifice of Loredo, who was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, and was killed by an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan on June 24, 2010. Jennifer Loredo and the Fort Bragg Child, Youth and School Services dedicated the hourly-care facility to the memory of the Paratrooper, whose family were patrons of the installation's Child Development Centers.
