A U.S. Army Special Forces airborne soldier parachutes toward his family after jumping from a CV-22 Osprey, assigned to the 352d Special Operations Wing, June 5, 2016, over Sainte-Mère-Église, France. The jump was part of remembrance ceremony involving both MC-130J Commando II and CV-22 aircraft as well as Airmen from the 321st Special Tactics Squadron in honor of the many airborne troops who lost their lives during the airdrop on D-Day, June 6, 1944.
