U.S. Army Capt. Brian Barnett from Waterford, Mich., Company Commander for Alpha company, 2nd Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, gives a plaque to 2nd Battalion, 8th Brigade, 2nd Division Iraqi Federal Police Commander, Col. Salehi, regarding the unity developed between the units in an effort to maintain peace in Iraq prior to the U.S. forces leaving the area at Joint Site Security Shaura Um Jidr, Baghdad, Iraq, April 14. The JSS is being handed completely over to the Iraqi federal police with the exit of U.S. forces from the area.
