During the exercise the service members have conducted jungle survival training, patrol base operation training and live fire training to increase interoperability and relations. Siford, from Tawas City, Michigan, is an infantryman with Task Force Koa Moana, and is originally assigned to Company A, 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force.
