Paul Akins, 1305th Survey and Design, measures elevation as Alabama National Guard engineers install articulated concrete block mesh, a sturdy road building material capable supporting M1A1 Abrams tank traffic on Route Crimson at Cincu Training Range in Romania, July 6, 2016. The Alabama National Guard is working with Romanian Land Forces engineers to build Route Crimson, a 4.8 kilometer road through the Cincu Training Range. The 186th Eng. Co. is participating in Operation Resolute Castle from April to September of 2016.
