Sams U.S. Army Health Clinic in Camp Zama, Japan, June 8, 2016. Gladden and seven fellow Army Reserve Soldiers from the 228th CSH arrived in Japan June 4 to commence a three-week mission to enhance Camp Zama’s health, readinesss and resiliency. As a seasoned pathology technician for a private organization in Texas, Luciano regularly applies her civilian skills to support the technicians permanently assigned to Camp Zama. This mission also exposes Luciano to new procedures managed in a unique environment that comprises Soldiers, Department of the Army civilians and Japanese specialists sworn to serve service members and their families.
