CHICAGO (June 14, 2016) Rear Adm. Stephen C. Evans, commander, Naval Service Training Command (NSTC), speaks to Ed Farmer and Darrin Jackson, the Chicago White Sox radio broadcasters in the 3rd inning of the White Sox game against the Detroit Tigers at U. S. Cellular Field. Evans gave the Oath of Enlistment to 82 young men from the Chicago-area, Indiana, and Wisconsin at the 32nd annual Chicago White Sox Navy Night before the game. It was also the 32nd time the White Sox have sponsored a recruit division at the U. S. Navy’s only boot camp, Recruit Training Command (RTC) at Naval Station Great Lakes, Ill. Fink was the quest of honor for the event and threw out the first pitch after enlisting the new recruits during pregame ceremonies saluting the U. S. Navy at U.S. Cellular Field. (U. S. U. S.
