U.S. Air Force Maj. Richard Villanueva assists a Cambodian man perform functional hand movements during the Health Services Outreach dry-run June 12, 2016, in Kampot Province, Cambodia. The HSO team saw more than 70 patients during their dry run in preparation for the week where they expect to see nearly 500-600 patients daily. Villanueva is a physical therapist deployed from Anderson Air Force Base, Guam, along with 80 members of the U.S. military and their Cambodian counterparts, service members from Australia, Vietnam and Thailand. Together they are working in partnership with local non-governmental organizations to provide medical, dental, optometry, engineering assistance, and subject matter expert exchanges to host nation citizens.
