Members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines perform a traditional warrior dance at Five Hills Training Area, near Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, during a cultural night for exercise Khaan Quest 2016, May 28. Khaan Quest cultural nights are hosted throughout the exercise and foster togetherness among the participating countries through the sharing of traditions and customs. Audience members enjoyed dance and musical numbers performed by members of the Phillippine Armed Forces and were invited to dance during the final song. Khaan Quest 2016 is an annual, multinational peacekeeping operations exercise hosted by the Mongolian Armed Forces, co-sponsored by U.S. Pacific Command, and supported by U.S. Army Pacific and U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific. Khaan Quest, in its 14th iteration, is the capstone exercise for this year’s Global Peace Operations Initiative program.
