Members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines run onstage to perform a traditional dance as part of a cultural night presentation May 28, during exercise Khaan Quest 2016, at the Five Hills Training Area, near Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Khaan Quest cultural nights are hosted throughout the exercise and foster togetherness among the participating countries through the sharing of traditions and customs. Audience members enjoyed dance and musical numbers and were invited to dance during the final song. Khaan Quest 2016 is an annual, multinational peacekeeping operations exercise hosted by the Mongolian Armed Forces, co-sponsored by U.S. Pacific Command, and supported by U.S. Army Pacific and U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific. Khaan Quest, in its 14th iteration, is the capstone exercise for this year’s Global Peace Operations Initiative program.
