SWE hosted the event to honor the life of Alice May Anderson, a pioneer in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) field and is considered one of the country’s first “human computers.” They also recognized science fair winners, scholarship recipients and SWE leaders from across the San Diego area.
