160422-N-N0820-001 HONIARA, Solomon Islands (April 22, 2016) - Hospital Corpsman 1st Class James Aldridge, assigned to Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 2, demonstrates proper litter carrier procedures with Royal Solomon Island Police Force (RSIPF) personnel. UCT 2’s Construction Dive Detachment Alfa (CDDA) is conducting a Subject Matter Expert exchange with the RSIPF Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Unit on how to properly maintain dive equipment, as part of the Humanitarian Mine Action program. CDDA is on the fourth stop of their deployment, where they are conducting inspection, maintenance, and repair of various underwater and waterfront facilities in support of the Pacific Fleet.
