160423-N-N0820-001 HONIARA, Solomon Islands (April 23, 2016) - Builder 2nd Class Jesus Saucedo, assigned to Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 2, demonstrates proper maintenance procedures on diver's air compressors. UCT 2’s Construction Dive Detachment Alfa (CDDA) is conducting a Subject Matter Expert exchange with the Royal Solomon Island Police Force (RSIPF) Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Unit on how to properly maintain dive equipment, which is being done as part of the Humanitarian Mine Action program. CDDA is on the fourth stop of their deployment, where they are conducting inspection, maintenance, and repair of various underwater and waterfront facilities in support of the Pacific Fleet.
