A group of uniformed personnel in blue coveralls and blue caps are unloading cardboard boxes from a military helicopter on what appears to be a ship's flight deck. The boxes are labeled in Japanese with the brand 'SUNYO' (サンヨー) and appear to contain dry curry rations (チキンドライカレー - chicken dry curry). This appears to be a humanitarian aid or resupply operation conducted by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF).

Japan Maritime Self Defense Force personnel, U.S. Navy sailors and U.S. Marines load supplies onto a U.S. Marine Corps MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft from Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 265 (Reinforced), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) aboard the JS Hyuga (DDH 181), at sea, April 22, 2016. The supplies are in support of relief efforts after a series of earthquakes struck the island of Kyushu. The 31st MEU is the only continually forward-deployed MEU and remains the Marine Corps' force-in-readiness in the Asia-Pacific region. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Darien J. Bjorndal, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit/ Released)
