An aerial photograph shows a naval carrier strike group underway in open ocean, consisting of at least four warships in formation. The formation is led by what appears to be a Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser in the foreground, followed by a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier in the middle distance, with two additional smaller escort vessels visible in the far background. All ships are generating visible wakes, indicating they are traveling at speed.
