Petty Officer 2nd Class Bradley Gnage, a boatswain's mate from Caledonia, N.Y., directs an MH-60S Knighthawk, assigned to the "Fleet Angels" of Helicopter Sea Combat Support Squadron 2, away from the flight deck of USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44) after delivery of food and stores during a vertical replenishment with USNS Lewis and Clark (T-AKE 1). Gunston Hall, a Whidbey Island-class dock-landing ship, was diverted from a scheduled deployment to West Africa to help Haitian relief operations as part of Operation Unified Response.
